We Give
A Shirt
About the planet, and the people who make the gear.
Let's be honest up front. We're a Melbourne print shop. We don't grow cotton, spin yarn, or run the factories. So we're not going to slap a green leaf on the homepage and call ourselves eco warriors.
What we can do is two things: choose suppliers who actually do the work, and run our own shop in a way we're not embarrassed by. Here's both, no spin.
What We
Print On
The bulk of our range is AS Colour.
A big reason we stick with them is what sits behind the garment. All of this is certified and published by AS Colour, not us. We're just telling you why we chose them.
Better fibres
Better Cotton Initiative cotton, a certified organic range, and recycled polyester and nylon replacing virgin material across selected styles.
Tested safe
OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified fabric, screened for 300+ harmful substances like pesticides, heavy metals and formaldehyde.
Less plastic
An active programme stripping plastic out of packaging.
Second life
A textile recycling programme to keep end-of-life garments out of landfill.
Carbon offset
A CarbonClick partnership so order emissions can be offset through verified reforestation projects.
Who Makes It
A nice shirt made by someone doing it tough isn't a nice shirt. AS Colour are an Amfori BSCI member, which means independent third-party audits of every factory against a global code: no child labour, fair wages, safe conditions, freedom of association. They back long-term factory relationships over chasing the cheapest quote.
They also fund Reemi, a partnership providing menstrual health education and sustainable products to female garment workers in Bangladesh, where the lack of it was costing women days of unpaid work every month. That's the kind of thing that actually changes lives.
How We Run Things
Print to order
We decorate what you buy. No speculative bulk runs rotting in a warehouse and getting binned.
Bring your own
Got stock already? We'll print on it. Reusing what exists beats buying new every time.
Chosen, not cheapest
We pick our blank suppliers and our decoration partners with this in mind, not just the lowest quote.
Real advice
If a job's a bad idea, we say so before you pay. Gear you actually wear is gear that doesn't get thrown out.
We're Not Done
We're not perfect, and we're not pretending to be. Not everything we sell is AS Colour, and there's plenty we can still do better. But we'd rather show you the real picture than market a fairytale. It's an ongoing effort, not a destination.
